The Restaurants & Bars

One of the highlights of dining at Trou Aux Biches is the fact that as part of your halfboard accommodation you can dine at all 6 restaurants rather than being limited to just one or two choices.

Meal Plan: Breakfast and evening meal (Bed and breakfast if staying in one of the superb villas). Dinner is either buffet or daily Chef's Menu, in selected restaurants only, with á la carte dishes available at a supplement. Occasionally a restaurant may close for a group booking or during Low Season.

Dress Code: During the day the dress code is casual, during the evening the restaurants prefer guests to be smart-casual so shirts and trousers (full length) for the men.

Non-Smoking Policy: Each restaurant features a smoking area and non-smoking section. Smoking will, however, be permitted in all bars.

L'Oasis

Open 7 days a week L'Oasis overlooks the beach and sea serving international cuisine with live cooking stations. Open 07:30 - 10:00 for breakfast and 19:00 - 22:00 for dinner. Themed buffets. Seats 300.

Le Deck

Beach restaurant serving seafood specialities. Open 12:00 - 15:00 for á la carte lunch and 19:00 - 22:00 for dinner (half board & chef's daily menu). Seats 100.

Blue Ginger

Trou Aux Biches' Thai restaurant. Open 6 a week for dinner (chef's daily menu) 19:00 - 22:00. Seats 60.

Mahiya

Indian restaurant. Open 6 days a week for dinner (chef's daily menu) 19:00 - 22:00. Seats 40.

La Caravelle

International gastronomic restaurant. Open for breakfast 07:30 - 10:00, á la carte or buffet lunch 12:30 - 15:00 and dinner (á la carte and chef's daily menu) 19:00 - 22:00. Seats 110.

Il Corallo

Italian restaurant open 6 days a week for á la carte and chef's daily menu dinner from 19:00 - 22:00. Seats 80.

L’Oasis Bar

The main bar overlooking the swimming pool and lagoon, specializing in tropical cocktails. Open from 10:00 to 01:00. Tea, coffee and pancakes are served from 15:30 to 17:00.

Caravelle Bar

Located close to the beach, the perfect place to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets on the island. Here you can enjoy a selection of house-special rum cocktails, cigars and champagne. Open from 10:00 to midnight.

Full Board Plus

Unique to Beachcomber and a first for Mauritius, our Full-board Plus option at Trou Aux Biches Resort offers amazing value to guests. Upgrade from half-board to Full-board Plus and as well as a delicious breakfast and dinner you’ll enjoy a two-course lunch every day, including a glass of wine, beer or a soft drink. You can also enjoy a bottle of wine with your evening meal. This great value upgrade is an easy way to enhance your holiday or honeymoon.

The Bob Marlin Mini Club at Trou aux Biches is free and welcomes children aged 3 - 12 years, 7 days a week. The club is open from 09H00 to 23H00 daily.

The Trou aux Biches mini club is run by qualified professionals who provide fun, but also educational, indoor and outdoor activities to keep your little ones entertained and happy. Every day there is a set activities programme which you can dip in and out of, if you also want to spend some family time together during the day.

Children and infants under 3 can attend the Club but must be accompanied by an adult or baby sitter

The Spa

Trou aux Biches’ spa echoes the resort’s tropical feel and authentic charm. Individual thatched pavilions are set amongst the palm trees and exotic plants to create a relaxing atmosphere. There is the choice of cool comfortable air-conditioned indoor pavilions or thatched roof under shade outdoor pavilions. A large reflective pool forms the centre of the spa and provides the perfect place to relax before or after your treatment.
